If you were in Brickfields the morning of Sept 20, a Saturday, you would have seen some 20 to 30 vehicles parked illegally along Jalan Tun Sambanthan.

At 10.30am, near the football field and opposite the police station, these vehicles were double and triple parked, some even in the middle of the road and some on the pavement. The bus-stop was blocked.

It looked like Kuala Lumpur City Hall was having a family day or sports carnival nearby.

Where is the respect for the law? Law enforcers must also obey the law!

According to the law, these vehicles should be summoned, towed away and the owner ie City Hall fined, but who would enforce the law on law enforcers themselves? This is an abuse of power.

In many advanced countries, even the law enforcers must obey the law, but I guess City Hall still has a third world mentality - authorities are allowed to do what they like since they are above the law.
