The new anti-terrorist laws which intend to prosecute those who provide "services and facilities" to terrorists affects doctors too. Doctors treat anyone who walks into his consultation as a patient - equal in all aspects. We do not discriminate for or against anyone, whether he is the No 1 in the country or the scum of the earth.

What if one of my patients turns out to be a terrorist on the run, who gets caught and on questioning reveals that he was treated in my clinic/hospital? Will I be prosecuted like a common criminal, for adhering to the highest values of my profession?
