I always fear that Parti Keadilan Rakyat (Keadilan) will not be approved by the authorities in time for the general election.

Now that it is clear the Registrar of Societies has rejected Keadilan's registration, we should however move on from here. My suggestion is for PRM leaders to join Keadilan. I am not trying to underestimate PRM's influence but the fact is PRM commands little support. If any, their support is mainly confined to certain areas in Johor. It is clear that PRM as a political party is not appealing to the people.

Having said that, PRM does have many good leaders such as Dr Syed Husin Ali, Dr Sanusi Othman, R Sivarasa and many more who can contribute positively to the opposition. By joining Keadilan these leaders stand a better chance of winning in the next general election. Eventually Dr Syed Husin may be able to run Keadilan, no matter what happens to Anwar Ibrahim next.

My feeling is one day Anwar will return to Umno together with all his supporters. If that happens, Keadilan will still be able to survive under the leadership of Dr Syed Husin. It is clear Keadilan will has a bright future if run properly and this party should be supported by all Malaysians who love democracy.

Race-based political parties such as DAP and PAS will not be able to survive in this multiracial country. My point is no Chinese will support PAS and no Malay will support DAP, and forever BN will win. For the sake of Malaysia, I am praying that Keadilan will survive beyond the release of Anwar.
