I can't agree more with the title of the news report ' Hishammuddin tiada wawasan? '. I wish Hishammuddin Hussein Onn and his men (if he still has any) would take a step back and list down his deeds which he thinks he has accomplished for the bangsa (race), the Malaysian youth and sports.

If they could compare the before and after he was appointed, there is not much difference, if not worse. A simple example is Malaysian football. Isn't Hishammuddin ashamed of our standards? Even Dr Mahathir Mohamad was curious as to why this has happened.

What about the money and hoopla spent on Alex Yoong in F1? What were the follow-on plans to put Malaysia in the F1 world scene? What did we expect to achieve? Why don't we 'invest' on Karamjit Singh instead when we could see there was potential there.

Look at our youths - teenagers killing each other, raping, etc. Where are our future intellectuals and thinkers? What is our roadmap to develop our own ulama, to again heed Dr Mahathir's call that we should go back to the basics of Islam and have the future ulama guide our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren to the right path.

What has Hishammuddin done that has made a difference?
