I find the letter by the so-called 17-year-old student on the education system interesting. For such a young man, this person has a deep knowledge into the workings of our education system which can only come from a mature person.

Having read the letter to the end, I am convinced that the writer cannot be 17 as it is way too good a write up. It sounded more like the writings of the many pro-opposition and all-Chinese readers of malaysiakini .

If it is true that it is in fact written by a 17 year-old, then the education is not bad - surely the product of such a poor system cannot write such a thought-provoking letter, with flawless english to boot!
