I am not a shareholder of AirAsia and has no personal interest in the company, except for my interest to be able to have cheaper airline tickets! If the tourism minister wants the relevant authorities to investigate AirAsia's advertisements on its low fare for certain flights, then all other advertisements with the word "Price from..." should be investigated.

Many other companies are doing this - car price from RMxxx, house price from RMxxx, holiday package from RMxxx, hotel room price from RMxxx. Does this mean all car prices, all house prices, all holiday package prices, all hotel room prices are as stated? No! So what is wrong with AirAsia's practice?

I could not see any reason why the Johor Consumer Association should complain about not getting the RM19.99 Johor Bahru-Kuala Lumpur fare. If you come late, you get the expensive ones, if you come early, then you get the cheaper ones.

So AirAsia, please continue to provide the opportunity for everyone to fly. And to others, if you want to help MAS, please go fly MAS but don't stop AirAsia from offering cheaper fares.
