In this time and age of Islam and Muslim bashing, I suppose I shouldn't be at all surprised reading Mister Tambourine's letter published recently; ' Support Muslims who are against PAS policies ' .

After all, not only is it happening with little thought here in the western world, it's happening in almost every single country where there is a sizeable Muslim population. Over here in Britain a well known BBC presenter is currently being suspended for his anti-Arabic stance (if only the same could ever happen back in Malaysia).

But of course these kinds of criticism will forever continue until the whole Islamic community decide to abandon their teachings and transform themselves to 'modern liberal human beings' (i.e. adopt an American or Western lifestyle). I guess if that ever happens the US will probably have to find a new public enemy, probably China and the remnants of communists states. Maybe India for their 'extremist Hindu elements' (as often described by the Western media).

Therefore Mister Tambourine has probably sufficient reasons to rally all Muslims to oppose PAS and its policies. After all he definitely would not mind if the government of the day allows alcohol to be served to both Muslims and non-Muslims (that's what they are already doing in Bangsar and many other places anyway).

The US certainly knows the benefit of a free for all alcohol loving country that spends over US$65 million every year on health and work-related damages. I'm sure Pak Lah can find that amount somewhere in the Treasury. Mister Tambourine would also be more than happy to liberate the oppressed muslimah by getting them raped every two minutes (National Crime Victimisation Survey, Bureau of Justice Statistics, US Department of Justice, 1996). These are just a few of the benefits of full democracy and human rights as envisioned by the great leader, American President George W Bush and his many apostles (British Prime Minister Tony Blair included).

That said, let us all oppose PAS policies because they are Islamic extremist. Let's join hand with Muslims and non-Muslims alike and herald a new future for Malaysia; where the rich becomes richer, the poor are constantly oppressed, drugs and alcohols kill and maims, and unwanted pregnancy and sexual diseases kills the rest of the population. Let's do exactly that for our children and their offspring.
