Apparently, in the continuing Anwar Ibrahim saga, the Court of Appeal judges sitting on the current case pertaining to the appeal against his sodomy conviction have refused to furnish its notes of proceedings.

The question that begs an answer as plain as vanilla is: why?

From the very beginning, the very charges that were laid out against the man was just too incredible to fathom. This remains a poignant point in the ongoing appeal - Anwar's persecution involved a wide cast of players doing their bit to ensure a 'successful' case was assembled. If one was to recollect the whole sordid episode, this case against the man was nothing more than a monumental clash of personalities that resulted in a victor and a victim.

The web of intrigue is further piqued by the latest from the Court of Appeal. The judges' credibility is on line. But just a moment I beg us all; learned judges, members of the legal fraternity and lay people of all creed....how long more is this sham going to persist?

Surely even the prosecution themselves have to admit that the case is malice carried on just a tad too far! There are cracks in the seams and amazingly, the very people who are supposed to uphold our constitution are seen as players with vested interest, their appointments were just as dubious as the case is at present.

As the case goes on, the masters that manage the press have relegated coverage of the case to the Netherlands no doubt. There seems no compulsion to seek, nor tell the truth. Anwar may be guilty of many other doings but certainly not sodomy.
