Reel in the big ones, Pak Lah
If someone was to tell you that a minister would be charged in Pak Lah's continuing fight against corruption, what would your reaction be? It all depends on the 'size' of the minister of course, and his/her influence in the ruling coalition.
Kasitah Gaddam, with all due respect, is but a small fry that swims in the Barisan Nasional sea. With such a vast array of delectable fishes, some rare and highly sought after, Pak Lah has so far served us the rakyat , with some pretty common fare.
It will do as starters I suppose, but I'm sure there are many like me still waiting for the main dishes - good big fish, hot and tasty, and not 10 years old please.
Come on, Pak Lah, you can do better. And whilst we understand that it is not that easy to reel in the bigger ones, we are also getting seasick and tired of hearing stories of the big one that got away.
Indeed, this is the season for another kind of fishing, and let us not swallow it all - hook, line and sinker.
