I refer to JJ Ray's article on homosexuality and Suhakam. To say that Malaysia outlaws homosexuality is incorrect and it is unfortunate that this important point was not clearly made in her article.

She should make the distinction between homosexuality as an identity and certain sexual acts that are outlawed under Malaysian laws.
