At last the BN has released its election manifesto .

Never before in history has it been released so late. Getting the manifesto out in good time must have been forgotten in the midst of horse-trading and finding enough ex-imams as candidates to further push Malaysia down the Islamist path.

At the launch of the manifesto, the caretaker PM made a vow that he "will not bribe and will not be bribed". Amazing stuff this, coming from the mouth of someone who is continuing the BN's tradition of using state resources as personal property.

It was only two days ago the caretaker PM flew on Perdana One to Perlis and Kedah to court voters. And from dissolution of parliament until election day, BN politicians, led by Abdullah Badawi, will continue to use taxpayers-funded resources in their campaigns.

It is ironic the caretaker PM has the gall to talk about his anti-corruption position when BN candidates all over the country continue to engage in electoral corruption by promising allocations and making on-the-spot grants. Pak Lah, if this is not bribing, what is?

A glance at the list of BN candidates shows many familiar names linked to corruption still being the caretaker PM's choice. Pak Lah, are you sure you know what corruption means?

So now the BN heads into the 11th general elections with a supposed crusader against corruption as captain. And yet there are many who say, 'Let's give Pak Lah a chance', without realising he has not even distanced himself from corrupt electoral practices.
