Kampung Sungai Getah 2, Sg Lalang, Bedong, Kedah hopes by this election they will soon enjoy electricity supply provided by the Barisan Nasional's caring efforts.

The people have been living in the dark for over 50 years. While the country is making leaps and bounds, it is important not to neglect the very people who are part of the steering wheel of the country's success.

The young generation in this simple village has not even watched cartoons, let alone educational programmes as there is no electricity supply.

Let us not deprive the making of an Einstein or Newton or another individual with the dynamic characteristics of our much loved and respected Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

Without electricity, water supply to homes, tarred roads, telephone facilities, drainage and sewage system in place, a society will continue to face poverty. More importantly, their true potential can never be nurtured.

The people of Kampung Sg Getah 2 urge the wakil rakyats to quickly serve the need of its people, as they rightly should.
