It's obvious that the so-called peace pact of the MCA is nothing but a smokescreen to con the voters during the recent general election. Chua Jui Meng was allowed to contest the election without knowing that he would be vetoed from the cabinet by Ong Ka Ting even if he won by a big majority.

If the voters knew Jui Meng would not be reappointed a minister, I'm sure Chua Soi Lek would not have won.

Anyway, the minister's post was actually reserved for Ka Ting's brother Ka Chuan but he was slain by a plucky little lady. So Soi Lek was given the job, although he holds a very junior position in the party.

This is his reward for fighting the battles of previous MCA boss Ling Liong Sik, who apparently is still calling the shots, although officially retired.

The latest protest by the Negri Sembilan deputy party chief is just the tip of the iceberge. Things will blow up after the resurrection of the sacrificial lamb Jui Meng! Just wait, watch and wonder.
