Singapore drivers deserve it

With reference to the letter Rude shock at Kota Bahru , I wish to state that I for one, totally support the action of the Malaysian police in trying to recover accrued fines for speeding offences by Singapore-registered vehicles.
As a too-frequent user of the Plus highway, I have yet to come across a Singapore-registered vehicle being driven along our highways below the stipulated speed limits (110 km/h).
If we Malaysian drivers have to pay the penalty for being lead-footed, so too should anyone else who uses our roads.
As for the fines being backdated four years, that is nothing new to Malaysian drivers.
So speed on, brother!
