Media shouldnt air lurid details
I am extremely appalled that the lurid details of the Noritta Samsudin murder trial are being aired and reported to the public. I understand that these are court proceedings but surely the papers can show a bit of respect for the deceased and her family.
There is absolutely no reason why the public needs to know these obscene details.
It is very sad to read about the victim having her private life aired in public while no one reports on the habits the accused. If you ask me, I think Norritta is being punished twice, once by being murdered and once again by having the media report on her private life.
In light of the government's recent concern of sex-slanted stories in the media, surely the latter can show some respect for the dead.
