I fully agree with the Malaysian government for not allowing American interference via the latter's proposal to marshal our offshore.

We don't want Asean to be yet another Middle East. Bringing in American forces indirectly means inviting al-Qaeda recruits and our lands will become the home of their wars.

Instead of ensuring security, we will eventually suffer the 'collateral damage' of their war, just like what the Iraqis are now suffering.

I'm convinced that the existence of the al-Qaeda is to inflict damages onto Western-American- Israeli targets worldwide.

By keeping away from these targets from us, we will be saved from crazy wars. Similarly, by inviting Americans to our home, we actually invite hatred, anger, violence, and bombings nearer to us.
