Like CWK and Thomas Mok , I have gone through the exact quota's life since school days and it definitely gets worse when it comes to higher education and scholarship.

It is sickening when one goes to the government offices to be 'served' by rude, know nothing, arrogant staff getting a position due to the quota system. This quota system is doing nobody good at all.

I am lucky enough to be employed by an overseas company and come next year I have the opportunity to get residential status.

Although I miss Malaysia terribly, especially the food and friends I have, this quota system has made me think twice or three times if I ever want to make a life in the quotas surrounding Malaysia.
