Let’s face it, give or take 100,000 voters, MIC is still the most dominant party to represent the Indian voters. This is what, I think, the president of MIC should have, as the attributes, to be the leader:

1) Moderately wealthy – so that he is incorruptible to the money politics. Let’s face it, to be ‘bought’, you have to depend on THEM for a salary. So please, elect someone who is not dependent on a minister’s salary of RM16,000,

2) Proud - so that he can represent us Indians, no matter of whether they are ‘kelings’, ‘pariahs’, etc but as EQUAL citizens of Malaysia,

3) Smart - as a mínimum he is a degree holder so that there’s a modicum of intelligence that is attributable to his backgound and will support his articulations,

4) Credibility - so that he’s recognised as being a man of his virtues and speaks for the downtrodden. Not easy these days when we are motivated by money,

5) Big balls - he has to be, if he wants to buck the system. I would call him Mr Big Dick if he fights for me,

6) Articulate - so that he can express his points without fear or favour and for all to understand clearly, and finally,

7) Who will not be defeated because ‘THEY’ try to jail him. You know lah,

For someone like HIM, Insyallah, I will vote to be prime minister of Malaysia. Now, would YOU?
