I'm very disappointed with your report Karpal should have apologised, say constituents .

In your report, only three individuals expressed disappointment with Karpal for not apologising to Parliament over which he was suspended by the House for apparently misleading it with regards to the oath-taking ceremony.

It is beyond my comprehension how three individuals can be quoted as representing the entire Gelugor constituency, which Karpal represents. They are just a drop in the ocean in terms of numbers.

It is very wrong of malaysiakini to carry this little piece of triviality as a major news item as if the majority of the electorate in Karpal's constituency had spoken on this matter.

If malaysiakini is interested in the truth, then please conduct a referendum. If this exercise reveals that the majority of voters do not approve of Karpal's conduct, then only then can we conclude with justification that the constituents in Gelugor do demand that Karpal apologise.
