MyTeksi welcomes the Land Public Transport Commission’s (Spad) proposal to review current regulations to include third-party ride-hailing mobile applications, as reported in today’s theSun newspaper.

MyTeksi supports the review as timely and a progressive move that will provide the framework for all parties to operate and to meet the highest safety standards.

We look forward to the opportunities to work in consultation with Spad and other regulatory bodies to propose amendments of the law that are holistic and reasonable and most importantly, for the mutual goal of passenger safety and towards a better public transportation system in Malaysia.
