Prasarana Malaysia Berhad wishes to clarify that the stampede incident in Mina on Sept 24, 2015 was not related to the train services operated by Prasarana in Makkah as alleged by unsubstantiated statements in the social media.

The victims who perished in the incident were not from countries that were using the train services.

We wish to request the public to verify statements related to the incident with the authorities or official channels before sharing them in the social media.

We also wish to offer our condolences to the family members of the pilgrims who perished.

Our thoughts and prayers are also with those who are injured. May they recuperate swiftly from their injuries.
