With reference to the letter Time to phase out Tamil schools , I wish to express my disappointment with the writer.

The writer totally misunderstands the purpose of mother tongue language as a whole. Vernacular education is not merely a medium to get a job.

If that were true, than there would be no other language other than English existing in this world today.
