Our government lets in Syrians and Rohingyas, so that the government will have more taxpayers, e.g. Singapore’s government increased immigration to get more taxpayers, to pay the ministers’ huge salaries. Immigrants (i) drive down market wages, so capitalists get cheaper labour caused by more supply of labour (ii) create more demand for example for housing/food/furniture/motorbikes, so capitalists producers can sell more, i.e. rich get richer.

Malaysian wage earners lose out via lower wages and costlier housing and food (more land will be used for housing, so less land will be left for agriculture - already Negri Sembilan’s vegetable growers cannot get enough land to grow vegetables), i.e. the poor get poorer. Already, homeless Malaysians can’t compete with immigrants for jobs. Water supply in Selangor is already tight, Malaysians there must share their water supply with 140,000 or more Rohingyas.

The higher is population density, the costlier is housing, e.g. (i) in Tokyo, housing is so expensive, wage earners can afford only tiny flats (ii) Hong Kong’s poor can afford to live in just cages (beds surrounded by iron fence) (iii) Singapore’s housing is so expensive, wage earners must use most of their incomes on housing. My relative there imports clothes from China, but can sell only on line, because shoplots’ rentals start from S$3,000 per month.

An overpopulated country like Bangladesh has 40 percent unemployment, market wages are so low that lower paid workers cannot earn enough to buy enough food. The Phillipines’ lower paid can earn just enough to buy food. India’s Uttar Pradesh has 2.3 million applicants (including PhD holders) for 368 clerical jobs.

Our government is changing Malaysia in this direction, so wage earners and their relatives better vote our government out.
