With the DAP trying its utmost to defend you over your current troubles and the BN using all means possible (including the police) to attack and intimidate the buyer, seller and anyone else remotely involved, as well as doubts over the alleged state land deal secured separate to the purchase of the house, I am reminded of a great man, a judge who was above all and remained above all, throughout his career.
Justice George Seah - “a principled man who understood clearly the role and duties of a Judge”, as the Malaysian Bar put it - was a man who never bought a house, a car nor took a loan of any kind because he did not ever want to be beholden nor affected by such links to a case that he may have to preside over.
So, YAB, you could have done so many things for the good of the people, but showing some restraint and following the example of the great judge and even the late great Tok Guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat, whom DAP praised so much for his humility and simple home, would have put you up on a place where none would ever be able to knock you down.
You reap what you sow, YAB. Please stop the stupid excuses, and get your people to stop it, too. It’s getting to a ridiculous level, that’s going to remind many fence-sitters that DAP is like Umno when facing criticism.
And please, the move to force Skohn to remove the parody ad is the lowest of the low and reeks of hypocrisy, after the hopelessly dumb videos that Teresa Kok and others have done before in the guise of sending out a Chinese New Year greeting.
With just one stupid move, DAP has lost all rights to talk about the government infringing on free speech.
Also, rewarding three loyal and hardworking city council workers who faced bullies over a car-clamping incident with only RM200 each (last October) but giving RM10,000 to a professional footballer who scored a great goal seems a bit lop-sided, don’t you think?
I still believe you and your wife made a good deal for the house with no benefits nor link to any other deal the state was involved in, but seriously, a RM2.8 million house?
Moderation does only not apply to religious views. The people are watching every move you make. So, no more slip-ups, please.
A supporter who is very disappointed,
K Anand
