Yusni Hamid to feature in charity concert for marginalised groups
In line with Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Persekitaran Positif Malaysia’s (Seed) tagline where, Nobody Gets Left Behind, we are pleased to host the Malam Bintang Nostalgia Charity Concert to honour these stars who have graced our past and are now banding together to lend a voice to the marginalised communities of the homeless, people living and affected with HIV, woman and transgender persons.
Prominent stars of yesteryear, Julie Sudiro, Yusni Hamid, Andre Goh and Mariam Ahmad are coming together on May 21 and 22 at Black Box, Publika to celebrate diversity in Malaysia.
Through this concert, we would like to register our deepest appreciation and acknowledgment to the artists for their contribution to the local music industry and re-visit the nostalgic songs, as a reminder of our cultural roots.
Admission to the concert, a collaboration effort between Seed and these veteran artists, is through a minimum donation of RM200 per entry.
Half of the proceeds of this event would be donated to Seed, to enable the community-based organisation to continue its services for the marginalised groups.
For reservations, please call 03-26970655 (Tuesday-Saturday 9am to 6pm) or contact nishaayub5479@gmail.com. For more information on the organisation, visit http://seedfoundation.com.my/
