On the seventh day, God rested,
(as the Genesis attested)
having finished His work of art
for mankind to assume the part.

On the seventh day of Christmas
my true love would chose to disburse
seven swimming swans and with it
the gifts of the Holy Spirit
the swans bearing grace and beauty
dreams, love, balance and purity

And the seventh day of Christmas
on which we have our eyes and ears
bids farewell to a year gone by
as we welcome with spirit high
a new year to look forward to
for peace and joy and revenue

Such shall my wishes for you be -
The rest of God, the symphony
of swans, everything be happy,
and graces from the Almighty.
