If we were to cause any injustice or pain, they will be all over us like a rash, but on the other hand they don't give two hoots about their own people.

What I am referring too are the perennial complaints that we Malaysians ill-treat our foreign workers. While there is some truth to that matter, not all of us are evil monsters waiting to squeeze these foreign workers dry.

On the other hand, one would expect the respective embassies and high commissions to be top notch in looking after their own people. But this is not always the case.

Every day I drive past the Indian High Commission along Jalan Duta in Kuala Lumpur and often one spot workers sleeping on the pavement outside the high commission building in such pitiful conditions.

Surely it is the incumbent on the high commission to ensure that if there is no space inside, then at least get them some decent accommodation until their matters are sorted out.

It is really extremely sad to see how these India nationals are neglected and left hanging around in the sun and rain with nowhere else to go.
