I find it strange that everyone is demanding for the crucifiction of Rafidah Aziz over the AP issue without giving any thought as to the person who sanctioned and put the whole thing in top gear when he was prime minister.

Let us not forget that he is the one (and only person) who is often given credit for all the achievements that Malaysians are generally 'proud' of - economic progress, the highways, the Twin Towers, KLIA, Putrajaya, the Multimedia Super Corridor, etc.

So why shouldn't he also be held guilty over the AP issue? Is it because he never makes mistakes and would not have made a mistake in the AP matter? Or is it because he raised the AP matter first and keeps pointing his finger at Rafidah?

Maybe if only Rafidah had given 500 or 5,000 APs (instead of 50) to her ex-boss' son, she might not be facing this AP problem. Indeed, then no one would have dared to raise it even if they were aware of unethical or corrupt practices in the issuances of APs.

Now everyone, including the opposition, is speaking loudly thanks to Rafidah's ex-boss. Just note how the AP issue is now being cunningly moved from Rafidah to the current PM.
