The AP issue has been going on for the past few months ever since it was highlighted by the former prime minister, Dr Mahathir Mohamad. It will be going on for a long time to if it is not 'solved' by the current PM.

I believed that in their last election manifesto, the Barisan Nasional government and its new leader, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, told the people that they will 'do away' with corruption within the new government. I have yet to hear of this.

The AP issue involves billions of ringgit and the least the PM can do is to send in the ACA to do a detailed investigation, after which they should furnish a report to him and the people.

Let's solve the above AP issue as soon as possible otherwise we will be the laughing stock of Asean as the country with a government that could have overlooked such an important issue as to abuse of power by a minister and ministry officials, both serving and retired.

What is so difficult? The PM should come in and solve the above once and for all as soon as possible.
