The loss of RM4 million worth of LCD panels from right under the Customs and Excise Department's nose at the KLIA cargo village is very shocking to say the least. This breach of security is unpardonable and if we are not careful, the next thing you know will be the theft of planes parked at the airport.

Previously, the airport was hit by the bad news of baggage handlers being involved in theft. One tends to think with the billions spent on the state-of-the-art facilities at our airport, how are we going to be the new hub of aviation for these region if our workers are still of the third world mentality?

Is it difficult to find honest workers who don't misuse their authority for personal gain?
