Uplift police forces low spirit to curb abuse

My most sincere sympathies to the writer of the article A story of police corruption and abuse .
I have much dealings with the local police force in particular the traffic division and I can assure you, most are not worthy of the uniform. My uncle was in the police force in the 60s and says he cannot recognise the force of today.
A good question is, what has come about the Royal Commission's report on the force? Something must be done to sort out the low spirits of the policemen and women.
It is from their low esteem, inadequate income that the men and women of the force fail to see the purpose of their force is in modern society, and that inevitably leads to abuse - terrible abuse.
