We treat our guest workers worse than slaves. Our treatment of foreign professional workers from the Indian subcontinent is so infamous that when I went for an interview for a job in Down Under, I was being 'jeered' at by the head of department.

Our government has no idea that their actions will be taken note of overseas. So much for being a champion for developing countries.

In no time our unemployed graduates may need to venture overseas to India or China to look for work. Do we want to be treated the same way we treated our guest workers?
