The great Universiti Malaya is falling. Likewise its renowned medical school.

One month ago, a respected, senior professor had physically assaulted a female student of his in the operation theater. A formal complaint by all her colleagues was made to the dean concerned.

No action was taken.

This is a mockery of basic human rights and respect. The professor concerned also sits on the university's Senate.
