LETTER | I refer to the Malaysiakini report Orang Asli land belongs to K'tan gov't, says PAS MP.

“Foraging” means the act or an instance of searching for food. The Temiar build dwellings and construct infrastructure. They also cultivate land and hunt for food.

Therefore, they are not on foraging land. They are on land they have settled on. Therefore, they live in a settlement. A settlement is a permanent residence.

As Kota Baru PAS MP Takiyuddin Hassan stated they can farm, rear animals and so on. If you farm, rear animals and so on you are not foraging.

Takiyudin's argument has no factual reason. Why should you steal farmers' land, move their animals and so on to another location?

How would you like it if the Temiar turned up at your house with a bulldozer and told you to relocate?

You behave like this just because you think you are better than uneducated farmers (who know a lot more than you about living on this planet without destroying it).

Humans need trees to recycle oxygen for us to breath. Or do you think when the Earth does not have enough trees the poor will die but not you?

God gave us a brain to think. Yours and mine. We have a brain to tell us what is wrong and what is right.
