I salute writer Lai Hong Mun who, like many of us, are equally concerned about the influx of Chinese citizens into this country who are involved in all kinds of illicit trade such as prostitution, selling fake goods or even pretending to be healers.

We all know that crimes normally occur within the same racial group, thus many Chinese Malaysians have fallen prey to these crooks from China, not to mention many households are under threat because the husbands are mesmerised by these pretty girls from China.

In Setiawan, many housewives are worried sick because their husbands are spending more time in the coffeeshops which employ pretty Fuchow girls from China. It is all very well for DAP, or even MCA, to come to the aid of these China visitors, but Michael Chong himself has seen some of these crooks from China in action at the KLIA.

The Chinese community should be worried over this. They must realise that these China visitors are invariably economic migrants who only want to make money to take home. They will have no hesitation to cheat another Chinese, take their jobs or even commit crimes against them.
