I refer to the letter Dangers in hiring non-Muslim maids by Husin Tapa.

Husin should stop for a moment and see what has become of the wonderful world that we humans have inhabited. People are killing one another. This is happening in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Iraq, Syria, India. Palestine just to mention a few. Murders are being committed almost on a daily basis in the name of religion as if life means nothing to nobody.

Suicide killings seem to be practiced by many people simply to kill, maim, disfigure and to cause life long suffering to another human. I do not know if this is really due to the hate of any specific religion or caste, or community. Whatever may be the reason, I find this as absolutely senseless so much so it seem to make a mockery of human intelligence.

If it is due to religion then I am afraid the creation of religion itself might be wrong. If it is due to caste or community, then it looks like these people have absolutely no sense of love for fellow humans. They seem to have acquired the characteristics of selfishness, disinterest in life itself and interest in everything that is anti-life and anti-people. Most regrettably, somebody has taught them or has made an incorrigible impact on their personal lives. If this does not stop, then I am afraid the world is going to plunge itself into utter evil.

There will then be no place for religion, culture or anything that makes this a happy place. Who is this person who has taught them to destroy another human? This is what every sensible person on earth must arise and put a stop to. Nobody has the right to teach or propagate hate or to motivate another to kill.

As far as Husin is concerned, my advice to him is to make a search of himself in silent prayer. Has he done any good for himself or for anybody else in this world? It is apparent he has never received love from anybody. I feel sorry for him. Everything that is taught in schools revolves around making a better person out of the child. Unfortunately, Husin seems not to have learnt anything or perhaps he has missed out on the best part of school education.

The danger of asking a non-Muslim to look after a Muslim child is irrelevant almost to the point of propagating hate. This is something he must stop. The issue of the non-Muslim maid bringing pork into the house is indeed stupid and not even worthy of comment. Who is in charge of the home? Is it the maid or the employer?

My advice to Husin is to start mixing around with the community and his neighbourhood. He will then realise he has missed out a lot. This is a wonderful world with beautiful people. Everyone is a flower that gives beauty to your garden. It is never too late. You can still make a start.

Just for the information of Husin, I run a clinic. All my staff are not of my race or religion. Yet they are extremely happy to be employed here. If you are trying to preach hate, please stop it immediately.
