If the government wishes to reduce or even end fuel subsidies - that's fine but on the condition that it should cut import tariffs and duties on imported cars either correspondingly or proportionate in monetary terms. Otherwise it is just exploiting the rakyat!

Whatever justifications the government may throw at us - the rules must apply equally to all parties - both the public and the government.

They can't have the rakyat prop up Proton and at the same time not subsidise our use of fuel! That is just exploiting us - plain and simple.

The knife should cut both ways.
