The most disturbing thing about the Teheran Oil Bourse is the lack of coverage of such a potentially world changing event in the media. The Economist in particular does not seem to highlight it much, although I may have missed a few issues.

Now, I'm not one to scream conspiracy for everything, but most of the coverage in the BBC, The Guardian and so on talk about Iran's (alleged) nuclear threat first in very war-mongering tones.

I am not convinced of Iran's nuclear threat. It is surrounded by the likes of Pakistan, India, and Israel all of whom are not bounded by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and have credible nuclear weapons and delivery systems.

It will be a great act of injustice and inhumanity to bomb and invade Iran as a means to gag any opposition to American supremacy.
