AirAsia customer service non-existent

I refer to the letter AirAsia stampede broke boy's toe .
For more than a month now, I have been writing to AirAsia's customer service on a particular complaint I have. What I get are computer-generated notices saying 'Thank you for contacting our customer service...'
I've already sent five e-mails but am still waiting for a reply. Their customer service is surely no service at all.
On a another matter, when I bought an AirAsia ticket at the Giant outlet in Sri Gombak, Selangor I was forced to buy an insurance policy for RM150 from an agent. Why is this?
I thought the directors of AirAsia were well-educated and civilised managers. But it seems they are only interested in impersonal money-making.
