Give EC chairman due credit

Months back, a couple of Letters to the Editor here likened the Election Commission chairman Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman to a BN-appointee and that he thus favoured the ruling power in the last by-election in Kelantan.
Well, now he is reported to be heli-hopping in Sarawak preparing for the run-up to the state's election and risking his personal health and safety in what has been declared a not-so-safe fly-zone for civilian aircraft.
Ought we not give the Tan Sri some fair credit for dedication to his work? Let's be fair.
