My secondary school motto was: 'The ship is more then the crew'. It meant the school was more important then the students combined.

It is a pity that our former PM has failed to realise this. The country is bigger then he and policies are not about him alone. Not he alone is right about what is right for the country and the people. He has no monopoly on the future of the country. If indeed he was under the illusion that his successor would continue all his policies, then he must have had a wrong idea of what a government should be - which is not a one-man show.

His love affair with Proton has made cars so expensive for all of us. The AP system was started during his tenure. I remember how a Nissan use to cost only RM10,000 in those days.

Malaysia belongs to all of us and everyone of us has an equal say on how the country is run under one-person-one-vote system. Mahathir is free to vote any way he likes in the next election to show his displeasure. Isn't that what his government used to tell us when he was in charge?

Apparently, he wants the present government to reply to his questions. But many of us still require answers from the time he was in charge. Maybe if replies to all of those first, then he has the moral high ground to demand answers from the present one.

He may have chosen his successor, but a majority in the nation actually voted for the current PM, there's a difference. Is he bitter that someone is doing a better job then he did?
