I refer to the article Mr PM, we need answers .

Personally the issue of the wrong choice as prime minister was actually uncalled for, but Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, as rightly put by the writer, is still is a leader that is respected either willfully or grudgingly.

However, I find that the Tun's outburst is in tune with the current sentiment of the populace which is getting restless and angry at the current administration for just not doing enough to ensure the nation progresses.

Lately, with the 9MP, I can only see the nation being coaxed to go back to farming to improve our so called 'lifestyle". The PM's smiling face adorning the pages of the newspapers is no longer something that can make the rakyat feel proud.

Instead, for me, I feel cheated by the current leadership. For a good part of the current PM's tenure in office, I only see Malaysia regressing and I personally applaud our firebrand ex-PM's outburst as it will, I hope, galvanise the nation to move forward again.
