Melayu muda lupa Dr Mahathir
Having seen first-hand the progress made by TDM (Tun Dr Mahathir) in 22 years with the limited resources available when he first took over the leadership, I am ashamed of the treatment dished out by the media to TDM.
TDM is a farsighted leader and we should be blessed to have him as our prime minister. The Kubang Pasu incident merely showed that majority of our politicians are seat-warmers licking the boots of the powers of the day.
If a leader requires three years to warm up, and in addition, can justify slow action as 'doing it my way', it simply highlights shortsighted leadership.
Was he not preparing to lead immediately after taking over?
If the current leadership can't accommodate views and concerns from the longest leader of this country, it reveals innate deficiencies in the capacity to equate wisdom with proper leadership. History will judge the current leadership and maybe their contributions will be deemed insignificant to be recorded in our history books?
As a grateful Malaysian, I pray for your good health and your continued wisdom, Tun Dr M.
