What is happening with the education system? From what I see, we probably have lost a whole generation with the kind of substandard education we have provided them. Do you seriously think that we stand on par with other countries with the current state of our education system? Dream on.

For one, I think the education system should never be compromised. Forget the Western world, look at India and China. No matter how much bribery or bureaucracy is involved, they never compromise on their education systems because it replaces an empty mind with an open one and embraces anything that benefits their subjects. Education should never be compromised as it has no ulterior motive, colour, race or religion attached to it.

We need to create a society that has a solid education because our service industry is a important sector contributing to our overall GDP. For our service industry to go global, we need a solid educational base. Please do something about this rather than moving away from it.

The strength of a nation does not lie in political power but rather in its educational base. Singapore is a classic example. With all its authoritarian rule and proclaimed democracy, it has never compromised on its educational system.

Dear government and related parties, please do something about our education standard because the whole nation could be caught in a quagmire before we realise it. Give all Malaysians the proper tutelage (as I have been fortunate enough to experience without any remorse). What he or she decides after that is up to the individual.
