How many more years do we Johoreans have to suffer? The Pasir Gudang highway is not fit for passenger cars or motorcycles and its more like a jungle track. Drive from the Carrefour hypermarket to the Pasir Gudang highway heading towards Taman Perling and be prepared to have a blown tyre or a twisted sport rim.

Instead of enjoying the scenery, one has to be on the lookout for potholes, bumps and damaged stretches of road. Making all sorts of maneuvers to avoid the damaged portions of the road, road users run a higher risk of bumping into another vehicles especially motorcycles.

Ironically, road users are blamed for all the accidents but how about the road condition itself? How many more deaths or injuries must there be before we could get proper roads?

Another deplorable stretch of road is the one from the Datin Halim traffic light heading towards the Pasir Gudang highway onto Plentong. The road is so rough that cars using it frequently have a much higher wear and tear rate for their wheels, tyres and shock absorbers.
