I refer to the letter Ketuanan Melayu not racist by Bee Fong Han. The writer must be a disillusioned son of the Malaysian career-diplomat, as he so described himself.

It's quite obvious that his version of Ketuanan Melayu is derived out of his 'personal' experience being the privileged son of a politically-connected person which, however, is not the to be confused with the reality as experienced by the average non-politically connected non-Malays in Malaysia.

He said that one should not compare Ketuanan Melayu to apartheid or ethnic cleansing, and while that is true in Malaysia today, this is also how it all starts.

Uncontrolled and if not properly managed, the concept of Ketuanan Melayu will lead Malaysia to this end because after all 'Ketuanan Melayu' means 'Malay Masters'.
