So, there you go. The much-awaited and much-talked about RM23 million Cyberjaya Community Club is now officially opened.

It is said to add a new dimension to this place Cyberjaya and it was built following feedback from the members of the Cyberjaya community.

'We are determined to meet the demands of the 'knowledge workers' (K-workers) in this city and at the same time make it livelier and productive,' so a bigwig said.

Great. Now, let's get back to the ground and reality in Cyberjaya. How many K-workers in Cyberjaya will actually go to the centre to use those state-of-art facilities?

Has anyone ever stayed later than 8pm in Cyberjaya? Do you know what is a ghost town? And how it looks like ?

How many of these K-workers know about and actually have been to Cyberjaya Lake Gardens in the first place?

Could RM23 million have been better spent? Surely a big 'Yes'!

Just let me quote you one better, cheaper and much-needed option - build one bus-stop in front of each office building in Cyberjaya. We need more better-designed bus stops with bigger roofs. Better still, build a covered walkway from the building to the bus-stop.

You have to witness personally those who are waiting for busses during the rainy season, it is such a pitiful situation.

Well, I know, it's too late now. By the way, can we have a look at an itemised bill for that RM23 million community club?
