Maybank aint gonna give business to PAS, PKR lawyers
I refer to the letter Maybank's move but a reflection of country's leadership .
I can understand very much the frustration on Maybank's bumiputera policy. I am a bumiputera Malay and I hate their policy, too, because this policy is none other than a camouflage for the Umno members to make profits for themselves.
Who are the bumiputera lawyers around? The majority of them are Umno leaders' cronies and family members of the ministers. You think Maybank is going to give business to a Keadilan or a PAS lawyer? Over their dead bodies.
Do not blame Maybank alone. All the other so-called policies to help the bumiputera are just slogans and rhetoric to gain support from the naive and simple-minded Malay 'kampung' people. If the policies really worked for the bumiputeras, then the effort that I had put in would have made me a millionaire by now. But alas, I am still driving a beat up 97' Proton Wira.
You think I have never tried to get a loan or assistance from some of the government-sponsored bumiputera programme? You'll never get it unless you get a signature from a prominent Umno leader to support your application. And do you think that guy wants to sign your application form knowing that you are a PAS or a PKR member?
Enough said. The three recent by-elections have proven that Malaysians are just good in talking and criticising but do not want to make a change, regardless whether you are an Indian, Chinese, Malay or others. Period.
