I refer to the letter Cyberjaya bus crowds only at specific times . It is heartening to know that Rapid KL is monitoring its passenger load trends. However, the practice of 'moving as and when the bus is full during peak periods' is reminiscent of bus services in Third World countries.

One aspect of a world-class bus service is punctuality and reliability. If Rapid KL has ascertained the peak and non-peak periods, it should maximise service frequency during peak periods and tailor non-peak service frequency so as not to hurt profits.

This review of its services should be further aided by the fact that (as stated in the letter) 'the area has no congestion'. Even if there was congestion, the trend of traffic congestion and the expected resultant delay should be factored in when planning services so that the buses remain as punctual as possible.

Once this has been done, Rapid KL should publish new timetables and subsequently, buses should arrive and depart according to the advertised times. Tweaks and minor revisions to timetables should then be done to further fine-tune services as passenger load and traffic congestion trends for each service become clearer and more predictable with time.
