When are we going to learn? How many more lives are to be wasted or innocent people maimed before another round of blame-shifting begins with another horrifying road accident?

Who is responsible? The government who is supposed to regulate and safeguard the safety of the public. But then again bus passengers are usually of the lower economic status. So I guess the priority is not really there as far as this government is concerned.

I hate to say this, but going by past records, I do not think anything is going to change unless those primarily responsible resign or are sacked tomorrow.

In Japan, an official no less than the transport minister himself would have honourably resigned. That is a trait of a developed, civilised country.
